By clicking "I Agree," creating an account, or using BaseRally, you agree to these Terms. If you are using BaseRally on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use BaseRally.
2. Description of Service
BaseRally provides expense tracking, receipt processing, and report generation software for political campaigns, consultants, lobbyists, and PACs. Our service includes:
- Email-based receipt capture and processing
- Expense categorization and tracking
- Donation and contributor management
- Compliance report generation
- Mileage and per-diem tracking
Important: We Are a Software Tool, Not an Advisor
BaseRally is expense tracking and compliance reporting software. We do NOT provide:
- Legal advice
- Tax advice
- Financial advice
- Campaign finance consulting
- Compliance consulting
3. Your Responsibility for Compliance
You are solely responsible for:
- Knowing your jurisdiction's filing deadlines
- Ensuring the accuracy of data you enter
- Making compliance decisions for your campaign or organization
- Filing reports on time with the appropriate authorities
- Consulting qualified professionals when needed
BaseRally may provide deadline reminders, report templates, and compliance suggestions as a convenience. These features:
- May not be complete or current for your jurisdiction
- Do not substitute for your own knowledge of requirements
- May contain errors or omissions
- Are provided "as is" without warranty
You acknowledge that campaign finance laws vary by jurisdiction and change frequently. It is YOUR responsibility to verify all requirements with your local election authority.
4. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use BaseRally for your internal business purposes during your subscription term.
5. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Promptly updating your information if it changes
6. Subscription and Billing
BaseRally is offered as a subscription service. Current pricing is available on our website. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees.

7. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to BaseRally. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process, display, and store your data solely to provide the service.
You are responsible for:
- The legality of content you submit
- Having appropriate rights to upload content
- Ensuring data accuracy before generating reports
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
(a) We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill.
(b) Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
(c) We are not liable for:
- Missed compliance deadlines
- Penalties or fines from regulatory bodies
- Errors in reports you generate and file
- Decisions made based on our software's output
- Third-party services or integrations
- Service interruptions or data loss
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BaseRally, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Content you submit through the Service
- Your campaign finance filings or compliance decisions
10. Warranties and Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We specifically disclaim:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy or completeness of compliance information
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That the service will meet your specific requirements
- That report outputs will be accepted by any regulatory body
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
Upon termination:
- Your access to the service will end
- You may export your data for 30 days
- After the export period, your data will be deleted
- Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination
12. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide 30 days' notice for material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kansas.
